Ash's logic Pokemon are friends, you must love them. Also torture them buy killing their brethren using them. Fighting them to near death and heal them to again put them through the ordeal. Continuing the circle until you grow tired of them. Then you put them in a computer where everyone forgets its existence and it waits for the end of time.
When you think about it pokemon is a fucking psychopathic game which teaches the kids animal cruelty from early age.
