Ive had mixed feelings about lets go pikachu and eevee pretty much since the first trailer but i understood it wasnt a game meant for all pokemon fans. LGPE is meant to attract the casual audience built from GO to get a taste of what main series pokemon feels like and its a genius idea imo. However the biggest issue i have is does it really need to remove so many features, at the point its going its pretty much pokemon GO without the AR mechanics and not very engaging battle system. Most of pokemon's features are pretty easy to understand so are they really worth removing. All of this leaves me worried LGPE wont be engaing enough to keep the new audience with it.
I dont hate LGPE and i may consider getting it so see how it will turn out but im just worried its getting a little too dumbed down despite pokemon already being a simple franchise kids can play.
