I've been playing my Pokemon Y game and beat the second gym. I saved and stopped playing but once I started my game later on I got a screen saying my save data was corrupted. I looked up what to do and came to the conclusion that I wasn't getting my save back.
I'd like to play Pokemon Y again and I know that you can delete the corrupted data and start all over, but I haven't seen any information on how corruption happens and if it will for sure happen again. I don't know if something is wrong with my cartridge or my system or if it's random. Is it safe to play my game again?
