Coming up to the end of the event time today I frantically shiny checked a group of Eevees as I only managed to get 2 previously, and at 3:29 I entered an Eevee encounter and it was shiny!
Caught the Eevee immediately, and when it went to the caught screen in my bag, the Eevee was not shiny, and did not have the event move!
