I'm curious to know whether people have tested and confirmed whether an Eevee that's satisfied all conditions of turning into a Gen 2 Eeveelution (walked 10 km, earned 2 candy) will turn into an Umbreon/Espeon after being traded and set as a buddy, or whether it needs to be walked on the second account.
I could try it myself but I'm a little afraid to :) There's only so much walking I can do in a day.
