Whenever I go out to play, I try to save up 10 gifts before sending them out since it's such a pain to navigate the friends list. But sometimes I continue absentmindedly spinning stops before realizing I've hit my 10 gift limit. It just takes so long right now to go into the menu and send out a handful of gifts. You have to stop what you're doing and spend a few minutes trying to find people you can actually send a gift to.
Until they make the menu easier to navigate, they should raise the limit of gifts you can hold to maybe 100. Then you can play the game as you want and spend time after you get home to actually send out your gifts. It's an easy to implement bandaid fix that they could rollback when they get things running more smoothly.
