I remember back when Gen 5 first came out the divisiveness surrounding these games rivals USUM and Let's go. Yes they were that divisive when they first came out. (Maybe I am exaggerating it but still.) I remember the most common criticism of the games were that a lot of the Pokemon looks stupid Vanilluxe and Garbodor were the two Pokemon everybody pointed their fingers at for being expecially uncreative. Now in days I can't even have a conversation about Pokemon without Gen 5 being mentioned as the Apex of the series. I kind of feel a little bit mixed about this to be honest. On the one hand I'm happy that a lot of people are coming to like a generation that was once hated. On the other hand I kind feel that Gen 5 became way too overrated you know? And this is coming from a guy who loves gen 5.
