So I just finished up the rest of Pokémon xyz on Netflix, and decided I would try watching sun and moon even though I’d seen previews of the animation change online and was skeptical. The new animation isn’t bad, but I feel kind of bored watching it.. there doesn’t seem to be any sign of gyms or gym battles, and no mention of an alola league. The entire last episode I watched was literally just them fighting a giant sand castle Pokémon. It just seems to be Ash and friends at the Pokémon school, and the only mildly interesting concept is the Z moves. Maybe its just me, but xyz was so eventful. It had gym battles, mega evolution, Pokémon contests, the Pokémon league, and of course zygarde and all of its destruction towards the end. I’m still going to continue watching it because of my love for Pokémon. What does everyone else think about this? Am I the only one?
