Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee honestly look like an amazing 3D representation of Pokémon, the following system (and animations, just look at snorlax walk) , the graphics are stunning. The scale on everything is seemingly accurate to a reasonable extent. I honestly think this exact engine, and graphical system would work beautifully on the new Gen 8 switch game, under some specific conditions:
Obvious list that 99% of people will agree with probably, nothing unique
• Remove the Pokémon Go style catching
• Don’t let us see the pokémon. Go back to random wild encounters.
• Please please please keep the pokémon following system.
Now the last one isn’t really required for a good gen 8 game. But god dang it i have wanted this to be the norm since the Gen 2 remakes. I’m not gonna lie; i probably will not be buying Eevee or Pikachu, the Go style system is not for me. But if gen 8 branches off of it properly i think it could be an absolutely amazing experience.
Also the talks about Gen 4 being remade, imagine platinum in this engine. It just really makes me look forward to 2019 in the year of Nintendo and Pokémon
