I just bought Ultra Moon off the eShop because I never played that gen. My sister told me that it’s a rare chance to do a blind Nuzlocke so that’s what I was doing. I lost a Drifloon and Cutiefly, but the rest wasn’t too bad until Kiawe.
I got a Tentacool from the waters of Route 7 so I traded it for that Barboach (figured it wasn’t against the rules since that Tentacool was my first encounter of the route) and thought I was set for the Trial. I trained up a bit to roughly lvl 24 as my lowest Pokémon, lvl 28 the highest.
The Totem Marowak wiped the floor with me. I couldn’t get Magnitude off first, and Brick Break nearly one shot the Barboach. And that was the beginning of the end. I got one Ominous Wind off from my Dartrix, who was the last stand. Then it was over.
I heard these games were a bit harder than X and Y but I didn’t expect to get absolutely destroyed THIS early.
What was your guys’ Nuzlocke experience? I obviously got overconfident but I also didn’t know what to expect since I’ve never played Sun or Moon.
